This advance workshop includes using Artisan Enhancement® products including Transfer Medium to transfer both black graphics and color images, Pearl Plaster for dimensional stencils, Cracketex for pull up and crackle effect, and Annie Sloan Craqueleur for the Old World Crackle Varnish, for furniture and more.

French Gilding Waxes are here now. King Gold, Empire Gold, Renaissance Gold and Silver.

A little of this gilding wax goes a long way. Just apply the wax to the raised ornamentation on a newly painted piece of furniture or frame. Add banding to your piece by taping off sections or selecting areas of a panel to highlight. This wax is suitable to all types of surfaces including wood, plaster, glass and metal. Always add your French Gilding Wax as your last step after your Annie Sloan Waxes.

Florence is here and what a beautiful color! Florence is one of our favorites. This beautiful deep malachite green color Chalk Paint® has a lot of depth and looks amazing when waxed with dark wax (always apply clear wax prior to using dark wax).

WAX TIP ALERT
Please use your Dark Wax Brushes to only brush on the dark wax after you have applied your clear wax layer. Do NOT use it to brush and massage the Dark Wax into the piece. Please brush on the Dark Wax then take a cloth or rag and wipe off the Dark Wax. Please go to Wax Tips Section for further information.

When you get a chance check out our new Pour Spout Lids for the paint cans, we love them. Makes pouring the paint so much easier. Please run the lid under hot water or use the hot setting of a blow dryer to make it easier to apply the lid.

TIP:
To properly mix this artisan paint. Before you open the can, turn the Chalk Paint® can upside down and leave it for about 20-30 minutes. Then shake the can to mix up the ingredients. Finally, if necessary, stir the paint.

My sister Karen Donnelly, a very talented artist, has joined me in the business. We are both here to help answer any general or application questions about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® and Waxes.

We appreciate your patience while we are processing your orders. We are now processing your orders quicker, please allow 1-2 days to process then allow for shipping. Orders shipping to New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and most of Pennsylvania will usually arrive 1 day after being shipped. Otherwise usually 2-5 days shipping all over the country. We always email you an UPS notification so you can track you order once it has been processed. Shipping rates range depending on the size of your order and where it is being shipped. You can determine shipping cost by entering in your address and items you wish to order and prior to putting in your credit card information you will see the calculated shipping cost.

We must ship orders containing wax via ground shipping. We are now shipping UPS. UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes. They will ship to the UPS Service Center in your area if you need it sent there instead.

Annie Sloan Soft Wax in Dark If you order the Dark Wax please order the Clear Wax. It is necessary to apply a layer of the Clear Wax first then apply the Dark Wax for the best results. Please always remember to really rub your clear wax into the Chalk Paint® then wipe off the excess wax. Let the wax soak into the paint, let dry overnight then buff.

Have you tried the Ultimate Waxing Brush yet? Pure heaven to apply a thin even coat of wax on your furniture. At least consider getting one for your Annie Sloan Soft Wax in Clear. After you try it....I think you'll come back for another one for your Dark Wax. Read more about it on the online store.

For those asking, yes you can paint directly over varnished, waxed and pledged a million times, pieces of furniture.

All Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® comes in Quart containers and covers about 140-150 square feet.
It is water based, can be applied directly over varnished and waxed furniture- no priming or sanding. Highly recommend you purchase the Annie Sloan Soft Wax in Clear to seal and protect your furniture after you paint, this is a tough finish once the paint has cured and waxed. Paint two coats, let dry between coats, wait till completely dry before waxing, then apply clear wax, let dry completely before buffing.

We are also carrying a set of three brushes for only $5.00 a set that we love for painting with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. It applies the paint on smoothly and evenly, the brushes wash up beautifully and last a long time. Please condition these brushes by washing in warm water with a little dish detergent first, it will help remove loose hairs.

The most unique aspect of Chalk Paint® is that you can paint directly over varnished and waxed furniture. No need to prime, sand, strip or prepare the piece prior to painting. It is truly amazing and a wonderful paint to use. We always recommend that you seal your piece with Annie Sloan Soft Wax® in Clear after painting with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to seal prior to using the Annie Sloan Soft Wax in Dark, always. This is recommended by Annie and was taught in her workshops, even when using graphite colored paint.
